Mnemosyne OS — User Guide
Mnemosyne OS is a sovereign, local-first memory operating system. Your memories live in vaults on your own machine, the engines that read and consolidate them run locally, and you stay the only judge of what enters, moves, or leaves your memory.
This guide teaches the OS one engine at a time, step by step, with a screenshot or a short clip for every gesture.
Where to start:
- New here? Install the app and follow Getting started in order — it ends with your first remembered conversation.
- Already running? Read Concepts to understand vaults and chronicles, or jump straight to the engine you are using in The engines.
- Looking for an app? Cartridges covers MnemoHub and the built-in cartridges.
